Oneonta, Kentucky

Oneonta is in Campbell county on the Ohio River about five miles east of Alexandria. It was probably named for the town in New York.

The Oneonta post office opened in 1890 and closed in 1926.

Near Oneonta was the Ohio River Lock and Dam 35. The upstream dam 34 was near Foster and the downstream dam 36 was near Brent.
