Plummers Landing, Kentucky
Plummers Landing is a Fleming county community on Fox Creek near the mouth of Stockton Creek about 12 miles southeast of Flemingsburg. The Plummer family arrived circa 1794 and a small town developed, including mills and some other industry. A Belle Grove Springs resort operated nearby in the nineteenth century and burned in 1876. The post office at Plummer's Mill, about two miles south of Plummers Landing, opened in 1849. In 1862 it moved to Plummers Landing and took the name Belle Grove. It was renamed Belle Grove Springs and then Plummers Landing later the same year. A Plummers Mills post office operated from 1867 to 1877.
