South Elkhorn, Kentucky
South Elkhorn was a southern Fayette county community located on South Elkhorn Creek at Harrodsburg Road (US 68) and Higbee Mill Road, now absorbed by the city of Lexington. It was the site of the first grist mill in the county in 1783.
The South Elkhorn post office operated from 1871 to 1904.
