Stringtown, Kentucky
Stringtown was a Nelson county community about six miles east of Bardstown. The origin of the name is not known.
The Stringtown post office opened in 1898 and closed in 1903.
There are, or were, several places called Stringtown in Kentucky, but this is apparently the only one that had a post office by that name.
