Swamp Branch, Kentucky
Swamp Branch is a Johnson county community about eight miles southeast of Paintsville on Jennys Creek at Swamp Branch. It was established as a station on the Big Sandy and Kentucky River Railroad (the Dawkins Line).
The Swamp Branch post office opened in 1923 and closed in 1991.
There is a trailhead for the Dawkins Line Rail Trail at Swamp Branch.
