Tilton, Kentucky
Tilton was a Fleming county community about five miles south of Flemingsburg. The area was settled by circa 1800 and was originally known as Pin Hook. The Tilton name is for a local propery owner. Tilton was incorporated in 1854, but later dissolved. The Pin Hook post office opened in 1851, was renamed Tilton in 1855, and closed in 1905.
