Turkey Foot, Kentucky
Turkey Foot is a Scott county community about nine miles northeast of Georgetown. It was settled by the 1790s and was named for the confluence of several creeks at Eagle Creek. At one time there were mills, distilleries, and other industries at the site – all gone now.
The Turkeyfoot post office operated from about 1826 to 1886.
