Union Mills, Kentucky

Union Mills is a Jessamine county community on Hickman Creek on the Union Mill Road about three miles east of Nicholasville. Bell's Mill, owned by Montgomery Bell, operated there beginning about 1799. After several changes in ownership and continued construction it was known as Union Mills by about 1821.

The Union Mills post office opened in 1888 and closed in 1903.
